GIS Specialist/Analyst
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
City Utilities Engineering |$62,103 - $74,158
Do you know your way around GIS, enjoy solving problems, and catch the details others miss? We're looking for a curious, dependable team player who can turn data into practical tools that help City Utilities work smarter.
What You'll Do
Support the GIS and work order systems used to manage utility assets, projects, maintenance, and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain GIS maps, dashboards, applications, and databases
  • Collect, update, analyze, and verify geographic and utility asset data
  • Support Trimble Work Order Management configuration, testing, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Work with engineering and operations teams to improve data, processes, and reporting
  • Assist with automation, system integrations, technical support, and user training

What You Bring
  • Associate degree in GIS, Computer Science, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • Three to six years of GIS experience
  • Experience with spatial data management and web mapping applications
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid Indiana driver's license if operating a City vehicle
