The Associate Product Manager owns product execution for key modules within our Industrial Asset Management & Analytics platform, including AI-assisted diagnostic and workflow products. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager and in close collaboration with the Executive Director of Software Engineering, CTO, internal SMEs, UX designers, and development teams, you will translate complex industrial workflows into intuitive, modern software experiences.
In this role, you will gather and document requirements, shape the user experience, and execute product strategy within an established hardware and services business. You will own product execution end-to-end while collaborating across the broader product, engineering, and services organization to ensure coherence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the product backlog for our AI-assisted diagnostics platform. Translate strategic direction from the Senior Product Manager into prioritized, executable work.
  • Drive product execution, leading agile ceremonies alongside engineering. Ensure scope clarity, unblock decisions, and keep the engineering team moving against committed work.
  • Partner with the product designer to shape user experiences, providing product direction and review on design output, and helping ensure workflows are intuitive for industrial operators and analysts.
  • Work closely with engineering to help ensure clarity on scope, acceptance criteria, and user outcomes.
  • Own quality through delivery. In partnership with engineering leads, define and uphold the bar for 'done.' Review work as it moves through delivery to ensure it meets acceptance criteria and user outcomes.
  • Synthesize customer and SME feedback into the roadmap, maintaining feedback loops from internal services teams, customer-facing engagements, and SME input. Surface prioritization recommendations to the Software Product Lead.
  • Define and track product success metrics such as workflow efficiency, user adoption, diagnostic accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate clearly to internal stakeholders, providing consistent updates on product progress, risks, and decisions across engineering, services, sales, and leadership.
  • Lead discovery for AI/ML-powered features through research, SME engagement, and documented findings that shape requirements.
  • Partner with sales, customer success, and marketing teams on product knowledge, documentation, and launch enablement.
  • Proactively learn industry trends in industrial data, UX, and AI applications, bringing relevant insights to the team.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support on-time releases and alignment with business priorities.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software, with demonstrated ownership of a product surface end-to-end (or equivalent experience in a related role such as business analysis, project coordination, or UX).
  • Demonstrated comfort with data-rich or analytics-driven product surfaces.
  • Related or transferable industrial experience, or a demonstrated eagerness to learn the industrial domain on the job.
  • Experience working in agile environments with established product, engineering, and design practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • B2B software experience in environments that include services delivery, professional services, or analyst-driven operations as part of the customer offering.
  • Industrial, manufacturing, energy, utility, or asset-intensive software experience.
  • Platform or API-product experience - building products that enable other systems or workflows rather than standalone end-user applications.
  • Ability to work effectively with SMEs, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and translate them into clear features and requirements.
  • Familiarity with programming or BI tooling (Python, SQL, Looker, Tableau) sufficient to engage substantively with engineering and data teams.
  • Exposure to predictive maintenance concepts (RCM, FMEA) or operator workflows.
  • Familiarity with condition-based monitoring, predictive maintenance, RCM, FMEA, OEE, or industrial IoT (OPC-UA, MQTT, time-series data).
  • Experience with AI/ML or LLM-driven product features (application-focused).
  • Experience in a small or mid-sized company where autonomy and versatility are essential.

  • Working knowledge of agile or iterative product development environments, with a willingness to deepen that knowledge on the job.
  • Practical product management experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software environments, including ownership of a product surface or significant product area.
  • Strong product instincts for workflow design, with experience partnering with designers to shape intuitive user experiences.
  • Ability to engage with internal industrial SMEs and translate their knowledge into clear product requirements and workflows.
  • Familiarity with industrial or operator/technician personas, or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn how they work and make decisions.
  • Comfortable engaging with data-rich products (e.g., trends, alerts, dashboards) and developing an understanding of how users interpret sensor and time-series information.
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
