Job Summary:
IMCS Group is one of the fastest growing MWBE staffing firms in the U.S. They are seeking a Technology Architect with expertise in Python and API development to work onsite in Chicago. The role involves understanding API concepts, Azure cloud services, and maintaining Terraform modules among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Understanding of API concepts like REST, SOAP, GraphQL
• Understanding of API Security like OAuth 2.0, JWT token validation
• Experience authoring, maintaining, and refactoring Terraform modules.
• Understanding of Azure resource provisioning
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services
• Preferred experience with Azure API Management, Application Gateway (including WAF), Azure Front Door, Key Vault, and monitoring solutions.
• Understanding of networking concepts: VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, private endpoints.
• Proficient in GitHub Actions (workflow authoring, secrets management, environment setup).
• Experience integrating Terraform deployments into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with automated testing in pipelines.
• Ability to write and maintain Python scripts for automation
• Experience with Azure SDKs and REST APIs for resource management.
