.NET Technical Lead Developer (Hybrid – Omaha, NE)

Location: Omaha, NE (On-site Monday & Wednesday, Remote Tuesday–Friday)
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks (Possible Extension or Conversion)


About the Role

We are seeking a .NET Technical Lead Developer to join Mosaic in Omaha, NE. This hands-on technical leadership role will drive the design, development, and maintenance of modern .NET applications, API integrations, and data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in .NET development, cloud and API integration, and experience mentoring development teams in an Agile environment.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule — in-office twice a week for collaboration, with the flexibility of remote work for the remaining days.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, coding, and deployment of scalable .NET and React Native applications.
  • Maintain and enhance middleware integrations between on-prem, cloud, and SaaS data sources.
  • Participate in all Agile SDLC phases: planning, development, testing, deployment, and review.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure code quality and security.
  • Lead root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Modernize and refactor legacy code (Perl, Python, PHP) into modern .NET frameworks.
  • Develop automation tools for testing and deployment to improve team efficiency.
  • Mentor junior developers, guiding them on best practices, architecture, and technical growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, estimate efforts, and recommend solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation, development standards, and technical roadmaps.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, HCI, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of professional experience in .NET application development.
  • Strong experience with modern web technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core, React, JavaScript, REST APIs).
  • Proven leadership experience guiding small to mid-sized development teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and DevOps pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Experience working in regulated environments (HIPAA, FERPA, PCI, etc.) preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Cloud development experience (Azure or AWS).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead complex technical initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and mentorship abilities.
