Job description

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Angular Web Developer position! This is a 12+ month contract and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead development of high-performance web applications using Angular 16+ (currently v18), leveraging modern features including standalone components, signals for state management, and enhanced reactivity patterns
  • Build interactive dashboards and reporting interfaces for enterprise risk analytics platforms that enable business users to independently trigger risk analyses without technical dependency
  • Design and implement scalable, cloud-native applications deployed on Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Azure Functions, and API Management
  • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, including Python Flask-based microservice endpoints for risk data visualization and reporting
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using Azure Active Directory to ensure enterprise-level security across all applications
  • Drive CI/CD pipeline development using Azure DevOps or GitLab, ensuring efficient deployment processes and maintaining Git-based version control with proper branching and code review practices
  • Collaborate with backend teams, product owners, UX designers, and risk stakeholders to ensure seamless API consumption, data consistency, and performance optimization
  • Lead code reviews, enforce development standards, and mentor junior engineers while providing architectural guidance on best practices
  • Optimize application performance through lazy loading, efficient rendering, caching strategies, and alignment with backend data refresh cycles

What You'll Need to Have:
  • 6-7+ years of software development experience with at least 2-3 years of hands-on Angular 15+ development experience (Angular 16+ strongly preferred)
  • Proven expertise in modern Angular architecture including standalone components, signals-based state management, and performance optimization techniques
  • Strong experience integrating with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services, with solid understanding of backend architecture concepts and microservices patterns
  • Demonstrated proficiency with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitLab, including experience with automated testing and deployment workflows
  • Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Risk Management systems - understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks and enterprise risk analysis is highly valuable
  • Solid understanding of Node.js for backend services and API development, with ability to consume APIs from various backend technologies including Python Flask
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred but experience with AWS or GCP acceptable) and deployment of cloud-native applications
  • Strong leadership capability with experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and working effectively in Agile/Scrum environments

Pay Range: $70-$75/hr
