You will spend the summer workingona project related to the focus of yourdesignatedteam. At the end of theterm,you willpresent your final project to senior leadership todemonstratewhat you learned and how you helped the team meeta related goalof the department.Your work matters - every project completed by interns has been thoughtfullycrafted by the team to give students an opportunity to apply their learnings in a real-world work environment.

You will be assigned toateam andproject;inaddition,you will be one of many summer interns(cohort)which gives us a unique opportunity to furtherexpand onyour professionaldevelopmentwhile atAspenTech.Cohort members will haveadditionalopportunities to shareand learn from each other's internshipexperiences, network withAspenTech Digital Grid Management (DGM)employeesand learn about different areas within the business.

Successful candidates will be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment,demonstrateinitiativeand make real contributions while gaining knowledge of various technologies and techniques in the field of engineering.Projects will be technology related (such as Data Analytics, creating automated test tools, software programming, etc.) and aid in the delivery of DGM'sstate-of-the-artcontrol systems.

What You'll Need
  • Working towards a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, SystemsEngineeringor related field

  • Excellent organization, interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a challenging environment and drive innovative solutions with dedication and persistence

  • Familiarity withMicrosoft Excel, Linux / Windows operating systems, C / C++,Python,or other programming languages is a plus

Hourly Internship Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.00
