SEI delivers technology and investment solutions that connect the financial services industry. We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Compensation Manager to analyze and optimize global compensation programs for sales and corporate employee groups.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex compensation models in advanced Excel, employing formulas, pivot tables, and automation to forecast outcomes.
  • Design and analyze sales incentive plans, evaluating effectiveness and creating new incentive models that drive desired behaviors.
  • Support the design and administration of broad‑based compensation programs worldwide, ensuring consistency, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
  • Apply data analytics and visualization to assess compensation trends, conduct pay‑equity analyses, and generate actionable insights for HR and business leaders.
  • Execute and continuously improve core compensation processes, including merit increases, promotion reviews, and incentive payout calculations, while upholding governance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Business Management, HR Business Partners, Finance, Sales Operations, and other leaders to address compensation needs and provide expert consultation.
  • Monitor compensation laws and regulations, conduct market benchmarking, and maintain compliance with pay transparency and other requirements.
  • Act as a key resource during M&A activities, performing due diligence on target company pay practices, modeling harmonization scenarios, and supporting integration.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in compensation programs and analytical methods to enhance efficiency, transparency, and strategic impact.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of compensation experience, including sales incentives and broad‑based programs; a Master’s/MBA is a plus.
  • Expertise in salary structures, ranges, job leveling, and sales incentive/commission plan design.
  • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivots, scenario modeling) and comfort with large data sets; experience with BI/visualization or compensation tools is desirable.
  • Strong analytical, governance, and communication skills—able to translate data into clear recommendations for pay equity, ranges, and payouts.
  • Proven ability to lead core compensation cycles (merit, promotions, incentives) and manage multiple priorities with confidentiality.
  • Experience with M&A due diligence and harmonization of compensation programs is a plus.
  • AI‑aware: responsible use of AI assistants for summarization, scenario exploration, and documentation, respecting privacy and bias considerations.
  • Preferable skills: Microsoft Copilot, Power Query, Python/RPA, Workday compensation modules, and ability to create repeatable AI‑assisted workflows.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field; CCP (or equivalent) required per policy.
