Job description

DevOps Engineer   
Salary Range: $$95,000 to $111,000 per year
Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support DLIFLC at the Presidio of Monterey, CA. This role designs and builds automated processes for deployment, monitoring, and operations with reproducibility, auditability, and traceability built in. The DevOps Engineer delivers customized CI/CD solutions that are fully compliant with ITIL change, incident, and configuration management processes.
This position is contingent upon contract award. 
Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
• Plan, install, maintain, and troubleshoot DevOps servers, tools, and applications.
• Administer Windows and Linux operating systems and VMware ESXi environments.
• Collaborate across development, operations, and security teams to streamline deployments.
Required Qualifications
• AA/AS in a related discipline, OR 3+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Active IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) plus applicable CE/OS certification.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby) and at least one general-purpose programming language.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, configuration management, container technologies, and cloud platforms.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux operating systems and VMware ESXi.
• Experience with GitLab and Microsoft Team Foundation.
• U.S. Citizenship.
Desired Qualifications
• Azure, AWS, or GCP certification.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• SAN technologies experience.
