Job Summary:
Bonsai Robotics develops affordable, vision-based autonomy for off-road equipment. They are seeking a Robotics Operations Engineer to scale and operate their robotic fleet with high reliability, partnering with engineering and field teams to investigate system issues and manage configurations.
Responsibilities:
• Lead root cause analysis of complex field issues using logs, telemetry, and system-level diagnostics
• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring infrastructure to detect anomalies and ensure fleet health.
• Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline issue triage, software updates, and operational reporting
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams to resolve recurring issues and improve system reliability
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience in robotics, operations, systems integration, or a related field
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, firmware, and software stacks
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with log and data analysis tools
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems, containerization (e.g., Docker), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP)
