"Role:
• The test lead engineer will be involved in verification and validation of software products developed for In-Vehicle infotainment(IVI) system and advanced connected car solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Test Automation, Test planning; Python, scripting, Robot test framework
• Testing as per process, manual testing (20%)
• Understanding test plan and use-cases for in-vehicle testing
• Requirement analysis, Design and development, documentation of test cases
• Defect reproduction based on limited information from user/ client
• Communication with internal and external stakeholders
Required skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related
• 6+ years of relevant experience in executing a test plan, identify gaps and developing simple test cases
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Testing (preferred Automotive domain)
• Experience in software testing for infotainment system or consumer electronics products
• Must have knowledge and experience of types of testing (e.g. normal, boundary, abnormal, load testing)
• Good analytical and communication skills
Preferred skills:
• Knowledge and experience in automotive domain is a plus
• Working knowledge of a Test Development Life Cycle (TDLC)."
