Job description

Indotronix is seeking a  Python Developer in the Pittsburgh, PA, OR Strongsville, OH, locations for our Direct client

Position Title: Python Developer

Location: 1. Most Preferred – Pittsburgh, PA

2. Second Preferred – Strongsville, OH

5 days onsite

Acceptable Time Zone(S): Est

Schedule: M-F 8-5 EST

OT: No - only as required for release activities

Duration: Contract to hire

Industry Background:

Banking or financial industry if available but not required.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Participate on daily scrum calls for upcoming change release implementations – assigned work, status, questions, collaboration. Coding, testing, advancements, and modernization as a software developer

Must Have Skills:

• Strong Spark + SQL transformation skills

• Rigorous data validation & reconciliation mindset

• Ability to translate STM/business logic into working pipelines

• Experience operating in structured, governed data ecosystems

• Practical debugging and performance optimization skills

• Python, SQL, Git, and Linux skills are required.

• Preferred experience in Jenkins, Apache Spark & Hadoop (Pandas is also good too), and object-oriented programming.

• Experience in working with wrangling data and building data pipelines

Flex skills/nice to Haves :

• Knowledge of AI space, acceleration enhancements and improvements.

• Experience with Co-Pilot or AI code enablement functionality.

Soft Skills:

• Clear collaboration and communication amongst other crew team members and resources

Education:

• 4 to 5 years’ experience post college required

Interview Process:

• Post screening interview, having a interview session with myself/other pertinent team members
