What You Will Do
The Weapons Mission Technology Group is seeking a motivated and innovative recent graduate looking for a challenging postgraduate internship at the post-baccalaureate level. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to projects that support the Laboratory's national security mission through technical analysis and software development. We will provide you with a mentor, a challenging project, and an opportunity to present your work and progress to colleagues. The projects will vary depending on your skills and interests and the Laboratory's current needs.
This internship is ideal for students interested in applying programming skills to real-world engineering challenges. The intern will gain hands-on experience with engineering design processes, and technical documentation while supporting multidisciplinary projects within a collaborative research environment.
What You Need
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
- Desire to learn new technologies and contribute to diverse technical projects.
Knowledge
- Fundamental engineering design principles and practices.
- Computer-aided design concepts and technical drawing standards.

Work Location : The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.

Additional Details
Directive 206.2 - Employment with Triad requires a favorable decision by NNSA indicating employee is suitable under NNSA Supplemental Directive 206.2. No Clearance: Position does not require a security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to drug testing and other pre-employment background checks.
