Python Developer

Location: Chicago IL (Hybrid)

Duration: ~12 months

Interview: 2 rounds: 1 Tech and 1 personality fit

Requirements
  • Python Backend Developer - 5 years
  • AWS certified is preferred: Associate or better - Working with Lambdas a lot.
  • Typescript experience is a plus as well.
  • Tech Lead experience is what they are looking for. Managing storyboards, help to remove blockers, etc.
  • Familiar with running various Agile ceremonies (stand up, PI planning)
  • They will do code review as well.
  • Have ability to manage multiple complex projects: timelines, risks, etc.
  • DynamoDB is good as well.
  • PySpark is nice to have too.
Project Description

Project is in the settlements organization: Process settlement transactions. They get batch files at the end of each day. Look to get those transactions streamed through their enterprise settlements platform. Core business logic is in the LOB centers. This team is building some logic into the enterprise platform. They will address and solve vulnerabilities. They will do other updates as well. Have some Fargate services that they are migrating to AWS batch. Will be migrating to CDK as well, and that's where the typescript will come in handy.
