Job description

Role: Django/Python Developer
Location:  Rockville, MD (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain current Django/Python web applications
  • Implement frontend with HTML/CSS/JavaScript (often Bootstrap)
  • Build and consume REST APIs (Django REST Framework) and integrate apps with third party applications
  • Manage database models and migrations (PostgreSQL)
  • Write unit and integration tests
  • Use AI to build features and integrate AI/ML models with RAG into Django apps
  • Perform unit and system testing for all projects.
  • Document all procedures and activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in computer engineering or computer science or related field (or equivalent 1–3 years Django/Python experience)
  • Understanding of Django ORM, Django REST Framework, views, templates, forms
  • Exposure to developing with AI
  • Familiarity with Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, PostgreSQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, testing basics
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
