  • As a valued colleague on our team, you will collaborate with team in designing, producing, testing, or implementing moderately complex software, technology, or processes, as well as create and maintain IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.
  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated Developer to join our Workflow Automation team in designing, developing, and implementing a modern job scheduling and orchestration solution.
  • This role involves supporting the target state architecture, transitioning from a legacy Autosys COTS product to AWS Native Services, including Managed Workflow for Apache Airflow, AWS Step Function, AWS Batch and AWS Event Bridge while also enhancing user experience through intuitive and efficient interfaces.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in scheduling and orchestration products, experience in cloud-native technologies, front-end development to deliver seamless UX for end-users. 24/7 on-call Support is needed.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

  • The Cloud Infrastructure - Software Engineering - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
  • Support testing, development and production operations (24/7 on-call) for the scheduling and orchestration platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and create a target state architecture for job scheduling and orchestration.
  • Create error-handling mechanisms, monitoring solutions, and operational dashboards.
  • Develop reference implementations for Apache Airflow, AWS Step Function, AWS Event Bridge and Lambda.
  • Document use cases, system design, reference implementations/patterns and migration plans.
  • Conduct proof concepts and help customers with implementation.
  • Plan and execute the migration of Autosys jobs to AWS Native solutions.
  • Build and enhance user interfaces for the Workflow Automation products, ensuring a streamlined intuitive user experience.
  • Optimize workflows and UX designs for performance, usability, and scalability.

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 7 years of experience
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Apache Airflow, AWS Step Function and AWS EventBridge.
  • Knowledge of Autosys and experience in migrating workflows to modern platforms.
  • Strong front-end development skills using frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with UX design principles, wireframing and usability testing.
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, Gitlab).
  • Deep understanding of AWS architecture and best practices, including IAM, security policies, and serverless computing (AWS Lambda).
