Job description

InfoWeb Systems has the following requirement for our direct client, Collins Aerospace. All candidates must have GREAT COMMUNICATION skills and SOLID WORK EXPERIENCE.

Location:            ONSITE in Cedar Rapids, IA (MUST be within driving distance)

Duration:            1+ year

# of positions:    3

Rate:                   DOE/hr C2C/1099/W2

Interview:           30 minute screening followed by 1-2 hour ONSITE interview in Cedar Rapids

TITLE: Generative AI Software Developer/Engineer โ€“ Aerospace Technologies Development Sandbox (on-site)

- Strong software development experience and skills to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team!
- Proficient in Unix/Linux
- Proficient in Python
- Proven execution skills in the development of complex systems
- Ability to communicate clearly to large audiences
- Passion or Experience in AI/ML or Generative AI
- Understanding of the fundamentals of AI/ML through research or practice
- AI/MI/GenAI - minimum 2 years of experience
- Python - 3+ years of experience

This position is for an experienced Software Engineer with either professional or personal project experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI. The position will be part of the Applied Research and Technology (ART) Aerospace Technologies Team designing and developing the next-generation avionics systems of the future.
The ART Aerospace Technologies Development Sandbox team is chartered with defining new disruptive developmental process improvements for the Collins Aerospace business to enable faster cycle times, lower total lifecycle cost, reduce tech debt and enable greater reusability.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Develop, design and conclude experiments to accelerate business capabilities in Generative AI for safety-critical development
