Flow Capture permet aux equipes creatives de gerer, de reviser et de collaborer sur leurs contenus tout au long du cycle de production, en soutenant les artistes, les coordinateurs, les superviseurs et les studios dans la realisation de projets ambitieux.

Vous aurez l'occasion d'acquerir une experience concrete en developpement logiciel au sein d'un environnement stimulant, creatif et collaboratif. Vous travaillerez avec une equipe d'ingenieurs, de concepteurs et de specialistes produit experimentes qui vous accompagneront dans le developpement de vos competences en technologies Web, infonuagiques et en workflows de production audiovisuelle.

Veuillez noter qu'il s'agit d'un poste hybride pour la session d'hiver 2027 (de janvier a avril 2027).

Responsabilites

  • Participer activement a l'equipe d'ingenierie de Flow Capture en developpant des fonctionnalites qui ameliorent la collaboration, la revision, la gestion des ressources et les workflows de production.

  • Contribuer au developpement d'applications et de services Web modernes utilises par les professionnels du cinema, de la television, de l'animation, du jeu video et d'autres secteurs de la production multimedia.

  • Prendre part aux sprints de conception, de developpement et de tests afin de livrer des solutions logicielles de qualite.

  • Collaborer avec les ingenieurs, les chefs de produit, les concepteurs UX, les specialistes de l'assurance qualite et les autres parties prenantes pour transformer les besoins des clients en fonctionnalites.

  • Ecrire un code clair, maintenable et teste en appliquant les bonnes pratiques du developpement logiciel.

Qualifications minimales

  • Etre inscrit(e) en informatique, en genie logiciel, en genie informatique ou dans un domaine connexe, idealement en deuxieme annee ou plus.

  • Posseder une experience en developpement logiciel backend ou oriente objet, de preference avec Java ou un langage similaire (Kotlin, C#, Python ou Go).

  • Maitriser les concepts fondamentaux du developpement logiciel : structures de donnees, algorithmes, programmation orientee objet et conception logicielle.

  • Avoir une experience avec les API (REST, GraphQL ou equivalent).

  • Connaitre les bases de donnees relationnelles, SQL et les principes de modelisation des donnees.

  • Demontrer un interet pour le developpement infonuagique et les plateformes telles qu'Amazon Web Services (AWS).

  • Avoir de bonnes aptitudes en collaboration, en communication technique et en travail d'equipe.

  • Faire preuve de curiosite, d'initiative et d'une volonte d'apprendre et de progresser.

Qualifications souhaitees

  • Experience en developpement backend Java et avec les frameworks courants pour les services Web.

  • Connaissance des tests automatises (unitaires, fonctionnels, d'integration ou de composants).

  • Familiarite avec les pratiques DevOps (CI/CD, Git, pipelines de build, deploiement, observabilite et infrastructure infonuagique).

  • Experience en developpement front-end ou full-stack (Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS), un atout.

  • Interet pour l'IA/ML, l'automatisation et les services backend intelligents.

Responsibilities

  • Be an active member of the Flow Capture engineering team, helping develop features that improve collaboration, review, asset management, and production workflows for our customers.

  • Contribute to modern web-based applications and services used by creative professionals in film, television, animation, games, and other media production environments.

  • Participate in iterative design, testing, and development sprints to refine product solutions and deliver high-quality software.

  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, UX designers, QA specialists, and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and turn ideas into working features.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while learning professional software development practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, preferably in your second year or later.

  • Experience with backend or object-oriented software development, preferably using Java or a similar language such as Kotlin, C#, Python, or Go.

  • Understanding ofsoftware development fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and basic software design principles.

  • Some experience designing, building, or consuming APIs, such as REST services,GraphQL, or similar service interfaces.

  • Some experience working with databases, including relational databases, SQL, data modeling, or database-backed application development.

  • Interestin cloud-based software development and deployment technologies such as Amazon Web Services.

  • Comfort working collaboratively with others, communicating technical ideas clearly, and sharing your work with a team.

  • Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to ask questions, receive feedback, and grow as a software engineer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience withJava backend development, including frameworks or tools commonly used for web services.

  • Exposure toautomated testing frameworks and practices for unit,component, functional, or integration testing.

  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts such as CI/CD, source control, build pipelines, deployment, observability, or cloud infrastructure.

  • Exposure to frontend or full-stack development is a plus, especially withAngular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS.

  • Interest in AI/ML frameworks, intelligent backend services, automation, or applying AI-assisted capabilities to improve workflows and system performance.

The 2027 Canada program runs for 16 weeks (January 4th - April 23rd). All internships are paid.
