Position Overview:

Forum Asset Management is looking for Software Developer Interns to help build data-driven applications that power decision-making across Forum's investment and real estate platforms.


In this role, you'll work on full-stack development projects that sit on top of our next-generation data platform. You'll contribute to building internal tools, APIs, and user-facing applications that transform complex data into actionable insights.


This is a hands-on, in-office role where you'll collaborate closely with data engineers, investment professionals, and business teams to deliver high-impact software solutions.This posting is for an existing vacancy at Forum.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain internal web applications and tools used across the business
  • Build and integrate APIs that connect to data platforms and external systems
  • Collaborate with data engineers to consume and utilize structured datasets
  • Contribute to UI/UX improvements for internal dashboards and tools
  • Assist in automating workflows and improving system efficiency
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging


Candidate Profile:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency in Python or another programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Java)
  • Basic understanding of APIs, web development, and software design principles
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment


Nice to Have:
