• This position works out of our Tech Center in St. Paul, MN in the EP division.
• In Client’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
• We are looking for a forward-thinking Software Systems Engineer to join our team focused on advancing cardiac electrophysiology.
• This role is central to exploring new technologies and workflows that support clinicians and researchers in understanding and treating cardiac arrhythmias.
• The ideal candidate will help in testing new software versions, creating test tools, and analyzing and reporting out data sets.
 
What You’ll Work On
• Test software prototypes that support cardiac electrophysiology workflows through hands on and emulated testing.
• Collaborate with team members to design and document test workflows.
• Create and run testing scripts to analyze software performance.
• Document findings and user feedback into technical reports.
 
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Preferred in: Biomedical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science     
• 0-2 years of experience in related job/field
• Experience with testing software/hardware systems preferred
• Medical Device Company preferred
• Experience with Matlab, Python, C++, or equivalent
• Experience with Linux based environments preferred
• Experience with Excel, Minitab, or Matlab for processing/displaying data
• Ability to work with cross-functional team and interact with customers
• Some knowledge of cardiac anatomy/physiology preferred
 
Additional Qualifications:
•  Be innovative, resourceful, and work with minimal direction
•  Have excellent organization, problem solving, communication, and team leadership skills
•  Have ability to multitask, prioritize their work and make data driven decisions
•  Work effectively with cross-functional teams
