Location: Pittsburgh, PA (2-3 days onsite in a week)
Contract to Hire
US Citizen,Greencard Holder($70-75/hr. on w2)
Must Have: Python, NumPy, Pandas, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Nice to have: Data sets, Unix/Linux
Description:
Develop automation in Python to identify characteristics, relationships, and trends on large user populations
Develop automation in Python to filter users into groups based on the above criteria
Use Python to make API calls to supported databases and toolsExcellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Agile development, Continuous
Integration, and Continuous Delivery
Required Skills/Experience:
1 Between 8 to 10 years of software development experience in Python and its data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.). Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
2 Strong understanding of LDAP, SQL and relational databases
3 Good understanding of:
Web technologies (HTTP, Apache) and familiarity with Unix/Linux
Data structures, algorithms and design patterns
Knowledge of authentication and authorization processes and tools
Preferred Skills/ Experience:
1 Experience in financial industry preferred but not a must
