Job Description:

Quevera has exciting opportunities for Python API Developers to support the design and delivery of next-generation mission applications. In this role you will build scalable and secure APIs, integrate AI/ML capabilities, and deploy solutions within AWS cloud environments. We are looking for exceptional engineers comfortable operating in modern agile teams and collaborating across mission and technical stakeholders.  


REQUIRED - MUST have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to apply for role. Only those with a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable, secure Python-based APIs 
• Integrate AI/ML models and pipelines into operational mission applications 
• Deploy, optimize, and monitor solutions using AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, IAM, and CloudWatch 
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, data, and DevSecOps teams to ensure seamless system and application integration 
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in alignment with Quevera engineering practices 
• Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement within agile sprint cycles 

Required Qualifications:

• Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

• Knowledge of Python in FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST 
• Strong proficiency in Python with experience in FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST 
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and scaling production APIs 
• Hands-on experience deploying, securing, and monitoring applications in AWS 
• Familiarity with integrating AI/ML models into production applications or services 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative mindset
