ScaleIO / PowerFlex Engineer  Contract at Elk Grove, Sacramento CA

Job Summary

We are looking for a ScaleIO / PowerFlex Engineer to support and maintain enterprise storage systems in a large corporate environment. This role will be responsible for monitoring storage performance, troubleshooting issues, completing upgrades, and working with infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and secure storage services.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain Dell EMC PowerFlex (ScaleIO) storage systems.

Monitor storage performance and resolve technical issues.

Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance.

Work with server, network, and virtualization teams to support infrastructure projects.

Assist with storage migrations and disaster recovery activities.

Create and maintain technical documentation.

Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience supporting enterprise storage environments.

Experience with Dell EMC PowerFlex (ScaleIO).

Knowledge of Linux and VMware.

Understanding of SAN and enterprise storage concepts.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well on a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with other Dell EMC storage platforms.

Basic scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).

Experience working in a large enterprise environment.
