Job description

Stake Center Locating is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Data team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting custom business applications that improve operational efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience building full-stack solutions, integrating systems through APIs, and developing scalable software that supports business processes.

In addition to application development, this role will contribute to data engineering initiatives, including system integrations, data pipelines, and automation solutions that enable reliable access to corporate data.

Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain custom enterprise applications that support business operations.

• Develop and support web-based applications, APIs, and backend services using modern software development practices.

• Implement new features and enhancements within existing custom applications.

• Create intuitive user interfaces and workflows that enable employees to efficiently interact with business data.

• Design and develop CRUD-based applications and portals to support operational and reporting needs.

• Participate in application architecture, code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and production incidents.

Systems Integration & Automation

• Develop integrations between internal and external systems using REST APIs and event-driven architectures.

• Build automation solutions that streamline business processes using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Power Automate, and custom-developed services.

• Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational support processes for business-critical applications.

Data Engineering & Analytics Support
