Job description

Sr. Python Engineer

Requires extensive knowledge and ability to develop application core features and backend services with python.

Ability to come up to speed quickly with an established and complex code base.

Knowledge and experience with REST Services

At least 5 years of focused python experience working on a large application deployed in a production environment

Experience on any project with a data focus and large data sets (eg, database access, data mapping, data transformation)

Test driven development requires substantial experience developing code level tests to ensure complex functionality is behaving as desired.

Experience with object-oriented programming in python and object-relational mapping concepts in python

Advanced knowledge of version control systems, preferably git, github

Ability to develop scalable code and performance tune existing features

Ability to demonstrate past experience troubleshooting complex and difficult issues
