Imerza is a fast-growing experiential software company & visualization studio that specializes in real estate development, virtual production, and VR/AR. Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Unreal Engine DevOps Engineer to join our growing team at Imerza LLC, a fast-paced creative technology company. You'll be instrumental in setting up and maintaining our DevOps Pipeline. Weโ€™re looking for someone with a strong portfolio and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:
Design, maintain and optimize automated build and deployment pipelines for Unreal Engine 5 projects.
  • Manage CI/CD infrastructure (Jenkins or equivalent) across multiple environments.
  • Support and administer Perforce, Git and hybrid source control workflows.
  • Implement monitoring, logging and alerting systems to ensure uptime, stability and performance.
  • Incorporate the latest technologies from Epic Games, Perforce and other integrations into the build pipeline.
  • Automate packaging and distribution of builds for internal QA, client demos, and production releases.
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions (Terraform, Ansible or equivalent) to manage scalable cloud environments.
  • Ensure security and compliance of build pipelines, including secrets management, access control, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Optimize build performance by profiling bottlenecks and leveraging distributed build systems.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for pipeline, workflows, and best practices.
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives and daily standups.
  • Ensure code quality and performance standards are met across all environments.

Requirements:
Technical Skills:
  • Shipped at least one Indie or AAA product in Unreal Engine 5 as a DevOps engineer.
  • Deep understanding of Unreal Engine 5 build processes, including cooking, packaging and automation and deployment.
  • Experience with automation of testing pipelines (unit, integration, performance tests) for Unreal projects.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across build, runtime, and infrastructure layers.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or equivalent) and scripting languages (Python, Powershell, Bash, Typescript but not limited to)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve build, deployment and infrastructure issues quickly.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically about scaling pipelines.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communications skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
