Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience designing, implementing, and supporting AWS cloud environments while leveraging automation tools, monitoring platforms, and modern cloud architecture principles to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, maintain, and support AWS cloud infrastructure

Develop infrastructure automation using Python and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

Build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments

Design and implement AWS architecture following cloud best practices

Support Hybrid Cloud environments and cloud migration initiatives

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes

Utilize DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to streamline infrastructure delivery

Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and security using Splunk or similar monitoring platforms

Administer and support Linux based environments

Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture documentation

Create system architecture diagrams, process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and UML documentation

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams

Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, application integration, and cloud platform issues

Research emerging cloud technologies and recommend architectural improvements

Participate in Agile development and DevOps practices

Required Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work or military experience

4+ years of Cloud Engineering, Development, and Support experience

4+ years of experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer

AWS Certification

Strong expertise with AWS Cloud Services

Experience with AWS Architecture and DevOps

Proficiency with Terraform

Strong Python programming experience

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Strong understanding of Hybrid Cloud Computing

Experience with virtualization technologies, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS

Experience with automation and configuration management tools including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps

Strong Linux administration experience
