Job description

Overview
As someone enthusiastic about integrating a wide variety of applications, you are looking for an opportunity to learn about data/application integration and contribute to an innovative and technology-oriented environment. As an Enterprise Data/Integration Developer at Esri, you will work with our team to ensure sound enterprise integration solutions that are critical to continued business processes. In this technical role, you will work on real-time APIs, REST-based services, ETL/ELT based processes, event-driven architecture and, other types of data transfers between business systems and into lake house. The role will give you the opportunity to work closely with other enterprise teams to define shared standards and practices and leverage common infrastructure and security. You will also be responsible for monitoring the environment, maintaining system health, and securing the content. This role will interact with both technical partners (Developers, Stewards, DBAs, Architects) and business partners. We welcome you to join Esri, where you can make a real difference every day!
Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop high quality and highly efficient data integration solutions based on a standard framework, implement new data sources required to support enterprise data management, master data management, data governance, business intelligence, decision support, and analytics
  • Partner with internal teams to develop and support effective Integrations solutions
  • Secure the movement of sensitive information in a manner consistent with company policy
  • Work extensively with data analysts/architects to understand enterprise processes and models
  • Deliver high quality and highly efficient Integrations solutions based on a standard framework
  • Understand and implement secure credential management options and proper encryption practices
  • Control integration quality and develop ways to detect and correct anomalies with data exchange
  • Create, maintain and publish technical documentation, runbooks and standards
  • Support production applications and assist other project teams with their solution development

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions using commercial products
  • Experience in SQL and at least one other language such as .Net, Python, R, MDX, C#, Java, or JavaScript
  • Experience with integration and/or ETL solutions including hands-on experience on at least one of MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory, Oracle 19c or greater, Microsoft SQL Server 2022 or greater
  • Knowledge of API Management, API Documents, Azure data platform, data structures, data warehousing, statistics, and analytic models
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Knowledge of the development and management required for ETL, ELT, REST, and SOAP implementations
  • Development experience with RDBMS (Microsoft SQL Server) in both transactional and analytic/EDW models
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes and project details
  • Working knowledge of core business platforms (SAP, Salesforce, Adobe, ServiceNow, Microsoft)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related STEM field

Recommended Qualifications
  • Experience working in agile environments and practicing SAFe/scrum/DevOps
  • Knowledge of data management best practices, processes, tools, standards, and methodologies
  • Experience/Exposure to cloud data tools (DocumentDB, Data Lake, Synapse, NoSQL, Hadoop/Spark, Data Bricks, Glue, Data Factory
  • Development experience in the cloud (AWS, Azure)
