Title: Senior Data Scientist and Python developer
Location: Princeton, NJ
Full Time
Salary + equity options
We are looking for a very bright, senior data scientist that has worked on a variety of data modeling problems and was able to build good models out of highly skewed data sets. We also want this data scientist to be a good Python developer, as we are a Python shop.
Requirement:
* 5+ years of experience as a senior Data Scientist
* Ability to create accurate models out of skewed data sets
* Strong aptitude in increasing model accuracy through various techniques
* Strong expertise in statistics, boosting, classification, regression, and machine learning in general
* 10+ years of experience in coding and a few years of experience with Python
* Experienced with Pandas, Numpy, etc in Python
You must be interested in working for a startup that has many bright individuals from Ivy League schools, and you should be quite bright yourselves. Past startup experience and an ability to multi-task is very helpful.
