Position Summary:

The AWS DevOps Engineer designs, automates, secures, and supports AWS cloud environments and CI/CD platforms. This role serves as a technical expert in Infrastructure-as-Code, cloud operations, security, observability, and deployment automation.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and support AWS infrastructure across Development, QA, and Production environments.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, including reusable modules and standardized deployments.
  • Administer AWS IAM, networking, encryption, authentication, and secrets management while enforcing security best practices and least-privilege access.
  • Support cloud platforms and services including RDS, Glue, Athena, CloudWatch, and related operational tooling.
  • Develop automation solutions using Python and Git-based workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, reliability, and observability.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and cloud platform issues.
  • Participate in on-call support and other assigned duties.
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Handsโ€‘on experience administering AWS cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM, networking, encryption, monitoring, and cloud security principles.
  • Experience supporting AWS services including RDS, EKS, Aurora, Glue, Athena, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, including reusable modules and state management.
  • Proficiency with Python scripting, Git source control, and CI/CD automation.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve production cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problemโ€‘solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered
  • 3+ years of handsโ€‘on experience working with AWS cloud technologies
  • 2+ years of professional experience using Terraform in production environments
