Job description

Immediate need for a talented Senior Python Developer Quartz Platform. This is a 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $65 - $67/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and enhance applications on the Quartz trading platform.
  • Build and support the Quartz Remote Risk framework across multiple asset classes.
  • Develop analytics and pricing components for risk and hedge accounting platforms.
  • Collaborate with traders, quants, risk teams, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python.
  • Experience working with the Quartz Platform, including Remote Risk, Sandra, Bob, Hugs, or other Quartz components.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, containers, and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of financial products such as Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps, Repos, and FX.
  • Understanding of Risk and P&L calculations for trading products.
  • Angular or Spring experience is a plus.
