Insight Analyst III

Los Angeles, CA

Position Summary

  • As an Insights Analyst III on the BizOps & Strategy team, you'll support the Resource Management Office in designing scalable, system-driven solutions for headcount planning and organizational reporting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of analytics, systems thinking, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong foundation in dataflow design and a passion for operational excellence.
  • You'll play a critical function in enabling high-quality, scalable reporting and data capabilities for BizOps initiatives and workforce planning projects. You'll work closely with enterprise tech partners to move resource planning and reporting capabilities into system-based solutions. You'll also support the design of data flows and spreadsheets that serve as interim solutions while longer-term systems are implemented. You'll report directly to the Analytics Manager for Business Operations.
  • Responsibilities
  • Scale BizOps tools to enable full resourcing, demand planning, and capacity analysis through integrated reporting infrastructure.
  • Optimize data pipelines for faster, sustainable refreshes that support recurring analysis and deeper insights.
  • Own monthly workforce update refresh process: validate data, resolve discrepancies, and follow up with HR, TA, and Finance partners as needed.
  • Design and maintain scalable data pipeline and lightweight tools that ensure consistency and accuracy in RMO reporting, and meet evolving business needs.
  • Partner with systems teams to align on future-state technical architecture and the migration of workforce data/reporting into system-based solutions.
  • Develop user-friendly dashboards and internal tools using SQL, Python, Google Sheets, and platforms like Softr to enhance visibility and usability of resourcing data for Ops Leads and partners.
  • Document processes, data definitions, and workflows to ensure sustainability.
  • Act as the technical point person within the BizOps team, bridging business needs with system capabilities.
  • Design and implement the transition of production data and reporting pipelines from multiple platforms (Databricks, Tableau, Google Sheets) to a consolidated environment (Databricks).

Required Qualifications

  • 6 8+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Management, or Systems-focused roles in gaming and/or technology.
  • Strong technical foundation, experience designing data flows, managing recurring data pipelines, and building structured data checks.
  • Skills and experience in SQL, Python, JavaScript.
  • Skills and experience in Data Visualization.
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to work with cross-functional partners to align data needs and technical design and implementation.
