Overall Objective:
The Adobe Workfront Fusion Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining sophisticated automation solutions using Workfront Fusion to streamline agency operations and enhance operational efficiency. This role focuses on orchestrating complex data workflows, integrating disparate systems, and automating critical business processes while maintaining the highest level of quality and reliability. The Developer will design and optimize Fusion scenarios, troubleshoot integration issues, maintain comprehensive documentation of automations, and collaborate across teams to identify opportunities for process improvements through innovative automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
Adobe Workfront Fusion Development:
  • Stay current with Adobe Workfront Fusion updates, new features, and enhancements.
  • Manage Fusion API connections, webhook configurations, and authentication protocols.
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex Adobe Workfront Fusion scenarios from conception through deployment and ongoing optimization.
  • Troubleshoot Fusion scenario failures and integration issues; implement robust error handling and monitoring.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for scenario architecture, performance optimization, and scalability.
  • Develop custom modules and connectors to extend Fusion capabilities for agency-specific needs.
  • Create advanced scenario logic including conditional routing, error handling, data transformations, and complex workflows.
  • Build integrations between Workfront and third-party applications (ex: media systems, CRM platforms, data warehouses, APIs, webhooks).

System Integration and Administration:
  • Administer Adobe Workfront systems, including project setup, workflow automation, approval routing, and custom forms.
  • Manage integration mappings and data flows across Mediaocean, Smartsheets, Airtable, Microsoft D365, and proprietary platforms
  • Track and manage enhancement requests, bug fixes, and deployment timelines with software support teams.
  • Support user-reported issues related to Fusion automations and system integrations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to establish secure connections between accounting, media software, and operational systems.

Workflow Automation and Data Management:
  • Monitor and maintain awareness of evolving technologies, best practices, and emerging trends in data integration and automation.
  • Implement data quality validation and profiling techniques to identify and resolve data issues in scheduled imports.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and governance across automated workflows.
  • Design ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Fusion combined with tools such as Python, SQL, and API connections.
  • Develop end-to-end automation solutions to facilitate data ingestion, standardization, and movement into data warehouses and cloud storage.

Documentation and Communication:
  • Document process improvements and identify opportunities for enhanced automation.
  • Communicate project status, automation benefits, and technical insights to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Develop training materials and conduct sessions for team members on Fusion-enabled processes.
  • Create technical specifications and architecture diagrams for complex automation projects.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation of all Fusion scenarios, integrations, and automation workflows.

Education and Core Experience:
  • Experience building integrations between enterprise systems and cloud applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with ETL processes and tools including Python, SQL, and data integration platforms.
  • Strong experience with API integrations, REST/SOAP protocols, JSON/XML data handling, and webhook configurations.
  • Proven hands-on expertise setting up, maintaining, and optimizing Adobe Workfront Fusion scenarios from start to finish.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Office 365, Adobe applications, and ability to quickly learn new systems.
