Python Developer With Aws focuses on integrating Python skills with AWS cloud services, emphasizing cloud infrastructure and DevOps. In contrast, Python Developer is broader, covering various development environments and applications. Both roles require Python expertise, but the AWS component adds cloud-specific knowledge for the Python Developer With Aws role.

What does a Python developer with AWS do?

A Python Developer with AWS specializes in designing, building, and maintaining applications using the Python programming language on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure. Their responsibilities often include writing efficient Python code, integrating with AWS services like Lambda, S3, and EC2, and deploying scalable cloud-based solutions. They also ensure that applications are secure, cost-effective, and optimized for performance within the AWS ecosystem. This role requires a solid understanding of both Python programming and AWS cloud services.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Python developer with AWS?

To thrive as a Python Developer with AWS, you need strong proficiency in Python programming, experience with AWS cloud services, and a relevant degree or equivalent experience in computer science or software engineering. Familiarity with tools like AWS Lambda, EC2, S3, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, as well as certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, are commonly required. Problem-solving, effective communication, and adaptability are critical soft skills for collaborating with teams and addressing evolving technical challenges. These skills and qualifications are vital for building robust, scalable cloud-based applications and ensuring efficient deployment in dynamic environments.

How do Python developers with AWS typically collaborate with other teams in a cloud-based project environment?

Python Developers with AWS frequently work alongside DevOps engineers, cloud architects, and front-end developers to design, build, and deploy scalable cloud solutions. Collaboration often involves participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and regular stand-up meetings to ensure alignment on cloud infrastructure, API integrations, and deployment strategies. Effective communication and a solid understanding of AWS services are essential, as developers may need to coordinate on topics like CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security best practices. This collaborative environment fosters continuous learning and helps ensure that projects meet both technical and business objectives.

Job Title: Software Development Engineer โ€“ Python

Experience Level: Minimum 2+ Years of Core Python Software Development

Target Candidates: Graduates/Postgraduates from Premium Engineering Institutes (IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS, Tier-1 Universities)

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in building scalable, robust software applications using Python.

Note: We are specifically seeking a Python Software Developer/Engineerโ€”someone who writes production-ready, clean, modular Python code and understands software design patterns, backend development, and database architectureโ€”rather than a Python user/scripting user.

Key Responsibilities

  • Software Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy production-grade applications, modules, and REST APIs using Python.
  • Database Design & Management: Build, query, and optimize relational and/or non-relational databases connected to Python backends.
  • Code Quality & Architecture: Write clean, readable, modular, and reusable Python code adhering to OOP, SOLID principles, and proper software engineering practices.
  • System Optimization: Analyze application performance, debug bottlenecks, and optimize database queries and backend workflows.
  • Testing & Version Control: Write unit tests, perform integration testing, and maintain code versioning through Git.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional product, architecture, and engineering teams to turn feature requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from a Tier-1 / Premium Institute.
  • Core Python Expertise: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated experience in software development with Python (deep understanding of data structures, OOPs, asynchronous programming, modules, and packaging).
  • Database Experience:
    • Strong hands-on experience interfacing Python with databases using ORMs (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Django ORM) or native drivers.
    • Practical knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), including writing complex SQL queries and indexing.
  • Backend / Web Frameworks: Proficiency with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
  • Software Engineering Fundamentals: Strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design basics.
  • Development Tools: Proficient with Git, Linux environments, Docker, and RESTful API integration.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with message queues or event streams (e.g., RabbitMQ, Celery, Kafka).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform) and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Competencies

  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
  • Obsession with code quality, test coverage, and software design patterns.
  • Clear technical communication and collaborative mindset.
