Senior Power Platform Developer

Position Summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to support the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) by providing technical leadership for enterprise application development, business process automation, analytics, and modernization initiatives within the DoD365 environment. This position leads the design, development, integration, and enhancement of Power Platform solutions that improve operational efficiency, data visibility, and mission performance while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity requirements, and agency objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise Power Platform solutions.

• Develop governance standards, solution architecture, and development best practices for Power Platform environments.

• Design and implement scalable Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI reporting solutions.

• Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, SQL databases, Azure services, APIs, and enterprise applications.

• Lead development of executive dashboards, operational metrics, and advanced analytics solutions using Power BI.

• Support modernization initiatives, cloud migrations, and digital transformation efforts across the enterprise.

• Implement and maintain security, compliance, environment management, and governance controls within Power Platform environments.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop technical solutions, and improve business processes through automation.

• Support Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing, deployment, and release management.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, user guides, and knowledge transfer materials.

• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to project teams.

• Ensure solutions comply with applicable cybersecurity requirements, including RMF controls, STIG requirements, Section 508 standards, and DoD policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of degree. 

• 2-4 years of tradition application development experience (I.E. Fullstack, Back-end, Front-end).

• 5–7 years of experience developing and supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

• Experience with:

  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Power BI
  • Dataverse
  • Microsoft 365 / DoD365
  • SQL Server
  • API development and integration

• Experience designing enterprise automation, workflow, and reporting solutions.

• Experience supporting cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity, governance, and compliance requirements within Microsoft cloud environments.

• Active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Federal or DoD experience preferred.

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications preferred.

• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
