extract cloud asset data, RDBMS (ex: Postgres, Redshift), Python and AWS to support enterprise data engineering, analytics, and reporting initiatives. This role combines responsibilities across database development, data transformation, and business intelligence/dashboard creation, requiring a hands-on developer who thrives in a dynamic, data driven environment.
The ideal candidate will design and optimize relational databases, build scalable data transformation, and develop intuitive dashboards that transform raw data into actionable insights. This position plays a critical role in ensuring data quality, accessibility, performance, and usability across the organization.
This role will focus on building modern cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, enhancing security posture, and ensuring seamless collaboration across engineering teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Design, develop, and optimize database schemas, tables, stored procedures, and highperformance SQL queries.

  • Develop automated Python scripts, DB Tool for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and orchestration.

  • Design and deliver interactive dashboards and visualizations (ex: Grafana)

  • Implement data validation, error handling, logging, and performance monitoring.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in alignment with organizational and compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to analyze requirements and translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

  • Architect and maintain AWSbased data solutions, such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, RDS, Athena, or Step Functions.

  • Document data flows, architecture, processes, and technical specifications.

  • Manage AWS services and ensure secure, scalable cloud environments.

  • Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation, deploy through CICD pipeline (GITLAB)

Required Technical Skills

  • Experience with CloudQuery (the opensource data integration platform) or similar tool to extract cloud asset data (AWS, SaaS-Security tool-WIZ) into databases for security, compliance, and analytics.

  • Practical experience with AWS cloud services for data engineering workloads.

  • Proficiency in designing dashboards and data visualizations using enterprise BI tools.

  • Understanding data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and best practices.

  • Ability to troubleshoot performance issues across databases, pipelines, and BI layers.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Experience with cloud security tools (e.g., Wiz).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.).
