Job description

The AI Developer is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of AI automation throughout the organization as well as maintenance and adherence to the agentic AI automation framework. This position will review business processes, create technical documentation, complete testing, and provide production support for our AI automation environment.
***This position is not currently eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization (for example, F1/OPT, H-1B, or other employment-based visa)***
Day to Day Role
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring an overall AI automation strategy
  • Work towards becoming the functional expert for critical AI automations
  • Assist in maintaining agentic AI automation development framework
  • Design, build, and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions to address business needs
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical AI solutions
  • Develop, test, and optimize algorithms to improve model performance and accuracy
  • Contribute to the deployment and integration of AI systems into existing platforms and workflows
  • Support the monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement of deployed AI models
  • Help determine and apply AI governance and best practices to ensure ethical and compliant use of AI technologies
  • Assist in data preparation, feature engineering, and model validation processes
  • Ensure tech debt activities are included in the backlog
  • Create and distribute quality reports to stakeholders
  • Document development processes, model performance, and system configurations
  • Participate in production support procedures and perform activities accordingly
  • Recommend and assist in implementing process improvements based on data, reason and logic

Core Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess the following
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in information technology, computer science, or related field of study
  • Strong development experience including design, testing, and implementation in AI automation
  • Experience with programming languages (Python, etc.)
  • Experience with deploying LLMs and building agentic AI solutions
  • Experience in agile principles and practices
  • Experience in tech debt management
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes including with non-technical audience
  • Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to gather pieces of information from multiple sources in order to make recommendations to streamline processes
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Ability to present to audiences with various technical backgrounds
  • Ability to maintain composure and adapting in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
