Continuous learning and familiarity with tools like Git and cloud platforms can also improve employability.

Will AI replace Python coders?

AI is unlikely to fully replace Python developers, especially those with no experience, as coding requires problem-solving, creativity, and understanding of context that AI tools currently cannot replicate. Instead, AI can assist developers by automating repetitive tasks and enhancing productivity, making human skills still essential in software development. Building expertise in programming concepts and tools remains valuable for job security and growth in the field.

How to get a Python developer job without experience?

To secure a Python developer role without experience, focus on building a strong portfolio of projects, contribute to open-source code, and learn relevant tools like Git and frameworks such as Django or Flask. Gaining certifications or completing online courses can also demonstrate your skills to employers. Job description

Mechanical Designer / Mechanical Design Engineer (No Travel)
Conveyor Concepts of Michigan (CCMich) | Coopersville, MI
Conveyor Concepts of Michigan (CCMich) is a growing, engineer-driven manufacturing company that designs and builds custom material handling systems, structural steel components (platforms, crossovers, stairs, etc.) and conveyor equipment for customers across North America.
We are looking for a Mechanical Designer / Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, creating detailed designs, and working closely with manufacturing to bring ideas to life.
Whether you are an early-career engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or an experienced designer with an Associate's degree and strong CAD experience, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
Recent or upcoming graduates are encouraged to apply.
Unlike many engineering roles, this position does not require travel, installation work, or extended time away from home. You'll work directly with an experienced engineering team while seeing your designs manufactured in-house and used in real-world applications.
Why You'll Like Working Here
  • Stable, growing company with a strong reputation in the industry
  • Collaborative engineering team with experienced mentors
  • No travel required
  • No installation or field service work
  • Opportunity to see your designs built in-house
  • Small-company environment where your work has a visible impact
  • Variety of projects and custom engineering challenges
  • Monthly catered lunches
  • Free snacks and drinks daily
  • Strong focus on long-term employment and team stability
Schedule
Monday – Friday
Typical schedule: 45 hours per week
Pay amp; Benefits
Pay Range: Up to $75,000 annually (based on education, experience, and design capabilities)
Benefits Include:
  • Health, dental, vision, life, short- and long-term disability insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Paid Time Off based on years of service
  • 9 paid holidays
  • Annual bonus opportunities
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Safety shoe reimbursement
  • Prescription safety glasses
  • Clothing discounts
What You'll Do
  • Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings
  • Design custom conveyor equipment, material handling systems, and structural steel components
  • Modify existing designs to meet project requirements
  • Develop bills of material for manufactured and purchased components
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and manufacturing employees throughout the design process
  • Review customer specifications and project requirements
  • Support cost estimating and concept development activities
  • Assist in solving design and manufacturing challenges
  • Maintain project schedules and engineering documentation
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the engineering department
What We're Looking For
  • Associate's degree with relevant mechanical design experience OR Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience using 3D CAD software, SolidWorks experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
This Role Is a Great Fit If You:
  • Enjoy designing real-world equipment and systems
  • Like seeing your designs move from concept to production
  • Want to work closely with manufacturing rather than sitting in a corporate office
  • Are coachable and eager to learn
  • Take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
  • Enjoy working with a collaborative team to solve problems
  • Want an engineering role that offers stability, opportunities for growth, and work-life balance
This Role Is Likely Not a Fit If You:
  • Prefer extensive travel or customer-facing work
  • Are looking primarily for installation, field service, or commissioning responsibilities
  • Prefer highly repetitive projects with little variety
  • Dislike collaborating with manufacturing and production teams
  • Are uncomfortable receiving feedback and learning new skills
