About the team:
The Global Audit Data Analytics Team within Global Technology Audit collaborates with audit and business units to identify and mitigate risks through advanced data analytics and strategic insights. The team applies expertise in data strategy, statistical modeling, and visualization to improve decision-making and operational efficiency. Focused on data quality and innovative solutions, members support Walmart’s mission of delivering value. Utilizing analytical tools and business intelligence, the team drives continuous improvement and operational excellence, enabling informed actions that uphold Walmart’s commitment to efficiency and integrity.
What you'll do:

• Identify and evaluate data sources aligned with business requirements and quality standards.
• Perform data quality assessments and lead cleansing activities to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using advanced analytical methods and tools.
• Develop and deliver clear, insightful data visualizations tailored to stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with organizational goals.
• Apply statistical techniques and exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and actionable insights.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote adherence to data governance and quality frameworks.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive experience in data analysis, data science, and statistical methods to derive actionable business insights.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Matplotlib and Tableau to create clear, impactful reports.
• Strong knowledge of data quality management, including profiling, cleansing, and monitoring to ensure data integrity.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into data-driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Familiarity with big data technologies, data architecture, and machine learning applications to support advanced analytics.
• Effective communication skills to present findings and influence stakeholders across multiple business domains.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
