Job description

Job Summary:
The SRE AIOps Engineer will operate in a dual capacity, designing and implementing AI-powered automation and tools to streamline Site Reliability Engineering workflows while providing specialized L2 support for application-specific technologies, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The role will focus on developing AI/ML and LLM-based operational solutions, Python automation, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring and observability, and application incident triage. The engineer may also lead an LLM wrapper or AI modeling initiative and coordinate technical efforts across a team. This is a 12-month rolling contract based in Miami, Florida, with a hybrid schedule of Monday through Thursday onsite and remote work on Fridays, along with participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement AI/ML and LLM-based solutions to automate incident triage, generate summaries, and recommend remediation actions.
• Develop Python-based services, CLIs, scripts, automation pipelines, and integrations to streamline repetitive SRE tasks.
• Process and analyze logs, metrics, and events through automated SRE tooling.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation for SRE tooling and observability.
• Work with internal AI tools and Atlassian Rovo to advance AI-driven operational capabilities.
• Serve as an L2 point of contact for AEM Sites, AEM Assets, Adobe Target, and related integrations.
• Perform initial application incident triage by reviewing error logs, validating configurations, and analyzing system behavior.
• Provide L3 and engineering teams with detailed incident descriptions, impact analysis, and reproduction steps.
• Monitor health dashboards and alerts using tools such as Splunk and New Relic to proactively identify anomalies.
• Maintain and refine runbooks, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures for common incidents.
• Lead or coordinate technical efforts related to LLM wrapper, AI modeling, or AI-driven operational initiatives as required.
• Support a global, always-on multi-brand eCommerce platform and participate in high-severity incident response.
Required Qualifications:
• 6-8 years of experience in a lead SRE, DevOps, or related role with strong emphasis on automation and tooling.
• Experience with SRE or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is required.
• Approximately 6-10 years of leadership experience, including experience leading teams, delegating work, and coordinating technical efforts.
• 3-6 years of experience supporting CMS-based platforms.
• Strong Python development skills for services, CLIs, scripts, and integrations.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• Advanced experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and New Relic.
• Experience monitoring and supporting production applications.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML/LLM-based solutions, automation pipelines, or AI-driven operational tools.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Rovo, Jira, or Confluence.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of AEM concepts, including Sites, authoring/publishing flows, and application issue diagnosis.
• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and incident-triage skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with both SRE and AEM.
• Experience with AI tools, LLM implementations, machine learning projects, AI agents, guardrails, and automated workflows.
• Experience leading AI/LLM projects or technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience supporting global, high-volume eCommerce platforms.
