Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scala Data Engineer with strong expertise in Apache Spark, Snowflake, and large-scale data engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Scala coding experience, deep knowledge of data modeling, and experience building scalable data pipelines for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets.
This role requires strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, distributed data processing, ETL development, and cloud-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Scala and Apache Spark.
  • Build and maintain enterprise data solutions within Snowflake.
  • Develop efficient SQL, PL/SQL, and Python-based data processing solutions.
  • Design and implement logical and physical data models.
  • Develop ETL processes for migrating and transforming enterprise datasets.
  • Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into Snowflake.
  • Utilize Snowflake REST APIs to automate and manage platform capabilities.
  • Optimize data processing performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with analytics, BI, and data science teams to support reporting and machine learning initiatives.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and best practices across the data platform.
