Job description

GTM Data Analyst Intern

Oakland, California, United States

We are looking for a GTM Data Analyst Intern to join our Go-To-Market (GTM) Analytics team. In this role, you will work at the intersection of business and data, supporting critical initiatives that drive decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Revenue Operations.

This internship is designed as a hands-on, high-ownership experience centered around building new and/or migrating existing business-critical dashboards from Looker to Tableau, analyzing data models, performing data validation and producing documentation. You will deeply understand the underlying data, validate business logic, and improve the overall analytics foundation.

The ideal candidate is analytically curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how modern data teams operate. You should be comfortable working with data, asking questions, and translating business needs into structured analysis.

Getting Started
  • We want you to feel like part of the team early on! Our onboarding process will integrate you into the company with informative sessions on our product, policies, processes, and team structure and goals.
  • We're excited for you to learn, grow, and contribute right away! We trust that you'll bring experience and knowledge that will uplift and uplevel the team, but we don't expect you to know everything on Day 1.
What You'll Do
  • Dashboard Migration: Own the migration of dashboards from Looker to Tableau. Recreate charts, metrics, and filters while ensuring consistency with existing outputs. Develop a deep understanding of underlying queries and business logic to ensure accuracy.
  • End-to-End Dashboard Development: Design and build a new Tableau dashboard from scratch using the data models you helped develop. Apply best practices in data visualization to deliver clear, actionable insights.
  • Data Modeling & Transformation: Work with dbt to transform raw data into clean, analysis-ready models. Standardize metric definitions, optimize data structures for performance, and ensure models are scalable for business use.
  • Data Validation & QA: Validate dashboard outputs against business expectations. Reconcile discrepancies between Looker and Tableau, test edge cases (date ranges, filters, segments), and identify logic or aggregation mismatches.
  • Dashboard Documentation: Document key dashboards, including purpose, stakeholders, KPIs, and filters. Define metric logic clearly and capture dependencies across data sources and pipelines to improve transparency and maintainability.
  • Data Pipeline Review & Gap Analysis: Review upstream data pipelines to understand how data flows into dashboards. Identify gaps such as missing data, delays, or schema inconsistencies, and recommend improvements to enhance data reliability.
  • Final Presentation & Insights: Synthesize your work into a structured presentation. Share key learnings, data quality findings, improvements made, and insights uncovered. Provide recommendations for future GTM analytics investments.
About You
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • You are available for an 8-10 week full-time internship during the Summer 2026 cycle.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker is required
  • Basic understanding of data modeling or transformation concepts and exposure to dbt and Github
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate data and identify inconsistencies.
  • Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data to answer business questions.
  • Eagerness to learn how data systems work end-to-end. Willingness to take ownership of projects and work through ambiguity.
  • Ability to clearly document work and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are authorized to work in the United States without restrictions. Please note that at this time, Everlaw is not sponsoring employment visas for this role.
Benefits
  • This is a non-exempt role with an estimated hourly rate of $31 - $44/hr, depending on experience.
  • Hands-on experience with modern data tools including Tableau and dbt
  • Understanding of how data flows from raw sources to business dashboards
  • Experience in data validation, QA, and analytics best practices
  • Exposure to real-world GTM data and decision-making processes
  • Opportunity to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders
Perks
  • Oakland HQ: Work from our beautiful, vibrant office in downtown Oakland with a flexible, hybrid-friendly culture.
  • Fully Stocked Kitchen: Enjoy catered lunches, a variety of snacks, and premium coffee to keep you fueled.
  • Community & Culture: Engage with "Everlawyers" through various ERGs (Employee Resource Groups) and team-building events.
  • Wellness Focus: Access to onsite amenities and programs designed to support your physical and mental well-being.
