Job Summary:
DTI (Diversified Technology Inc.) is an IT Consulting/Staffing firm focused on enterprise integration and implementation services. The Cloud Architect Contractor will design and implement cloud solutions, develop cloud architecture strategies, and ensure compliance with best practices for cloud security and performance.
Responsibilities:
• Develop cloud architecture strategies and plans aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure, including network design, security configurations, and cloud services.
• Evaluate and select appropriate cloud technologies and tools to meet project needs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of cloud solutions.
• Ensure compliance with best practices and standards for cloud security, performance, and cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and onboarding templates aligned with established standards.
• Create "golden path” onboarding workflows and developer-facing documentation.
• Prototype and validate reference implementations and harden them for repeatable use.
• Support early adopter teams and gather feedback to continuously improve onboarding accelerators and reusable assets.
Qualifications:
Required:
• GCP Python – Advanced Level (6–9 years of experience)
• 5+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• 5+ years of experience with Python
• 5+ years of experience with Terraform
• Solid GCP fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Python scripting for automation.
• Strong documentation skills and experience creating developer-facing documentation.
