Job description

Position Location: 5 days in office/on-site interview

  • Pittsburgh, PA


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Facilitates complex problem resolution.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
  • Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.


Must Have Technical Skills:

Python Development

Strong hands-on experience in Python (3+ years typical)

Proficiency in:

  • OOP concepts, modular design
  • Data structures and algorithms
  • Package management and dependency handling
  • Experience building scalable applications and utilities


Test Automation Frameworks

Experience with at least one Python-based automation stack:

  • PyTest / unittest frameworks
  • Selenium WebDriver for UI automation
  • Playwright (modern web automation)


Automation Coverage

Ability to automate:

  • UI testing (web apps)
  • API testing (REST services)
  • Integration / system testing

Good understanding of:

  • Test design (BDD/TDD concepts)
  • Test data management
  • Assertions and validations


QA Testing

  • Create and Execute Manual testcases for both UI and backend applications
  • Experience using Jira and generating Test summary reports.
