These skills and qualities are vital for delivering robust solutions, addressing client needs efficiently, and ensuring successful project outcomes.

What are some common challenges faced by Python consultants when working with client teams?

Python consultants often encounter challenges such as understanding legacy codebases, aligning with diverse client expectations, and integrating new Python solutions into existing systems. Effective communication is key, as consultants need to translate technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Job Description
This analytics consulting role is a critical partner to EACX teams as they transition analytics use cases from legacy on-premises tools to modern, cloud-based platforms. Acting as both a consultant and enabler, the role provides hands-on guidance, practical execution support, and clear standards to help teams confidently adopt cloud analytics capabilities.
You will collaborate closely with analysts, data engineers, technology partners, and business product owners to understand business objectives, unblock migration challenges, and ensure that high-value data assets are accessible, reliable, and governed with defined service expectations. Success in this role means accelerating migration outcomes while raising the bar on how analytics solutions are built and sustained in the cloud.
Approximately 70% of the role is dedicated to stakeholder engagement, enablement, and migration execution, with the remaining 30% focused on strengthening governance capabilities such as source control, data quality, observability, and scalable development practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Guide teams in designing cloud-based analytics solutions, including tool selection, architecture decisions, and implementation best practices.
  • Support the migration of data mining, auditing, aggregation, validation, ETL/ELT, reconciliation, reporting, and visualization use cases.
  • Build and deliver enablement artifacts, including documentation, metadata standards, training materials, and access guidance.
  • Proactively identify and remove technical roadblocks to keep migrations moving forward.
  • Partner with technology teams to ensure critical data assets are well-managed, reliable, and supported by clear SLAs.
  • Contribute to and evolve governance practices for multi-tenant cloud environments, including source control, data quality, and observability.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Six to eight years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Computer Science.
  • Strong communication, consulting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in agile environments.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or Azure ML.
  • Familiarity with SAS, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, marketing workflows, and banking data.
  • Knowledge of data quality, observability, metadata, and governance practices.
  • Experience with relational databases such as DB2, Postgres, Greenplum, SQL Server, or Azure databases.
  • Experience with GitLab or GitHub.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
