Meet the Team
The Portfolio Pricing and Valuations group is part of Operations & Middle Office and focuses on firm-wide pricing, valuation, risk and P&L capabilities for derivative products. The group partners with Technology, Quantitative Research, Market Data and valuation functions to advance internal systems and related workflows.
What You'll Do
• Lead a multi-year initiative to migrate equity pricing, risk and P&L capabilities from third-party platforms to internally designed systems.
• Define business and functional requirements and develop comprehensive implementation and testing plans.
• Analyze complex system workflows, map dependencies and support the migration of legacy pricing and valuation systems.
• Coordinate delivery across Technology, Quantitative Research, Market Data and Valuations teams.
• Translate business and functional requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.
• Own the testing and validation of valuation results.
• Provide stakeholders with regular updates on project progress, risks, outcomes and prioritization decisions.
• Establish and lead cross-functional working groups as needed.
What You Bring
• Advanced degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics or Physics, with at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of equity derivative products and associated risks, including options, variance swaps and equity total return swaps.
• Strong Python coding skills or proficiency in a similar programming language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical teams and users while delivering executive-level updates to senior stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, thoroughness and ownership, combined with an appropriate sense of urgency.
• Collaborative approach and a strong willingness to contribute and support others.
Salary Range
Millennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $170,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
