Job description

Welcome to Love's – Our Technology Services team is seeking an AI Application Developer to design user-centric, data-driven applications that enhance intelligence and automation within Love's business operations.This hybrid low-code/pro-code role leverages modern AI platforms, Ontology-based data models, and enterprise application frameworks—supplemented with Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and REST integrations—to deliver secure, guided workflows that drive real-time operational decisions. The developer works closely with business partners, SMEs, data engineers, and platform administrators to rapidly prototype, build, deploy, and improve AI-enabled applications that read from and write to governed enterprise data. This role blends product thinking, UX mindset, and software engineering rigor to deliver maintainable, scalable intelligent applications. *Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Job Functions:

  • Build user-facing AI-enabled applications using structured data models, actions, forms, and decision services.
  • Extend applications with pro-code (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript) using platform and AI SDKs.
  • Translate business workflows into secure, governed application logic with read/write data interactions.
  • Develop lightweight data transforms and pipelines to prepare application-ready and AI-ready datasets.
  • Integrate applications with internal and third-party systems via REST APIs, webhooks, and authenticated patterns.
  • Incorporate AI capabilities (e.g., LLM-based features, agentic workflows, intelligent recommendations) into operational applications.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, business users, and platform administrators to ensure governance, RBAC, and release readiness.
  • Apply engineering best practices including TDD, code reviews, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Instrument applications with telemetry, monitoring, feature flags, and performance health checks.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, reusable playbooks, and patterns to support team enablement.
  • Provide ongoing support, triage issues, fix defects, and maintain applications through updates and enhancements.
  • Support broader team and enterprise goals by proactively contributing to initiatives outside of core responsibilities.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of application development or full-stack engineering experience.Experience building applications on enterprise data or AI platforms (e.g., Palantir Foundry, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or similar).
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Cloud Computing, or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred but not required: Relevant platform or AI certifications (e.g., Azure AI, AWS ML Specialty, or equivalent enterprise data platform certification).

Hard Skills:

  • Front-end implementation with Python and TypeScript/JavaScript (e.g., React) for custom components and interaction.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience integrating LLM APIs or AI services into user-facing applications.
  • Strong SQL and experience preparing application-level datasets.
  • Experience with REST APIs, OAuth2/OIDC, secrets management, and webhook integrations.
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Azure DevOps), and automated testing.
  • Cloud fundamentals (AWS or Azure) for deploying services, troubleshooting connectivity, and using managed platforms.
  • Understanding of data modeling, data workflows, and data governance principles.

Soft Skills
