Job description


We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer II to join our engineering team and contribute to the development, automation, integration, and security of software solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in DevSecOps practices,software development, automation scripting, and configuration management.
This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality engineering solutions.
You will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and support DevSecOps practices across the software development lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python and PowerShell.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to security, coding, and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software integration, build, deployment, and configuration issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities and process enhancements.
  • Develop technical documentation, user guides, and operational procedures.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional software development or DevSecOps experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and Bitbucket source code management systems.
  • Strong experience with Python and/ or PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience implementing and supporting DevSecOps, CI/CD, and secure software development practices.
  • Familiarity with software configuration management, build, and release processes.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
