Job description

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and technically strong intern to join our Corporate Systems tech team. As our Software Engineering, Finance Systems Intern, you will support the team and the business as we approach the transformation of our ERP (Employee Resource Planning) systems. You will have exposure to how we approach Business Process engineering, solution requirements and design for our internal systems.

The ALO internship programs starts June 8th and ends July 31st. Interns will be working 40 hours a week at our Beverly Hills HQ.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Apply theoretical learnings from your academic study and develop skills to support a future career in Financial systems
  • Work with the Finance Business team in the capacity of a Technical Analyst/Engineer
  • Document functional requirements for key projects assigned
  • Partner with Developers and Engineers to create prototypes and functional design solutions
  • Create Pseudo Algorithms
  • Write Business use case and functional requirements for new features
  • Develop code/programs in ERPs such as Oracle Fusion and FDM4
  • Create test scenarios and success criteria for functional solutions
  • Lead or assist on projects using a hands-on approach
  • Build Interfaces and develop code for new functionality or able to write functional flow

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
  • Good knowledge of programming languages such as JAVA, SQL & PL/SQL, PYTHON or C - OR - Good knowledge of financial processes, accounting procedures and financial applications. College subjects should cover financials topics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Power Point, Excel, Visio, Lucid Charts, google docs
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening skills
  • Learn from the best by interacting with a dynamic team of professionals
  • Ability to document requirements and keen attention to details
  • Ability to speak in front of groups that include both business and IT partners

The base pay range for this position is $45/hr-$50/hr which represents the current range for the non-exempt position. Please note that actual pay will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
