Dpassement et dfis stimulants :

Sous la supervision du chef dquipe / RTLAB, le Dveloppeur en Automatisation Assurance Qualit voluera dans un environnement dynamique inspir des mthodes Agile et participera activement au dveloppement doutils internes utiliss dans le cadre des tests automatiss en intgration continue (CI). Ces outils soutiennent les quipes de dveloppement dans lvolution de nos plateformes de simulation temps rel. Dans un contexte dintgration continue, vous appuierez les quipes logicielles toutes les tapes du dveloppement des produits OPALRT.

Responsabilits principales:

• Dvelopper et excuter des scnarios de test aligns sur les spcifications de lquipe Recherche et Dveloppement.
• Concevoir, excuter, maintenir et documenter des tests automatiss en Python.
• Intgrer les tests automatiss dans lenvironnement dintgration continue (Jenkins / Groovy).
• Participer lamlioration des processus et des outils communs.
• Soutenir et former les utilisateurs dans le dploiement et lutilisation des outils internes de tests automatiss.
• Collaborer au sein dune quipe Agile.

Exigences :

• Formation:Baccalaurat en gnie logiciel, en informatique ou quivalent.

• Exprience:1 2 ans dexprience en automatisation des tests et/ou en dveloppement logiciel.

Comptences requises :
- Ralisation de tests unitaires, dintgration et de tests automatiss (Python, Groovy, etc.).

- Exprience avec les technologies dintgration continue (Jenkins, GitLabCI, etc.).

- Connaissance des bonnes pratiques en automatisation des tests.

• Langues : Le franais est requis. Une bonne matrise de langlais, loral et lcrit, est ncessaire pour assurer une communication efficace avec des collgues et partenaires lextrieur du Qubec.
• Qualits personnelles : Autonomie, curiosit, bonnes habilets interpersonnelles, esprit dquipe.
• Intrt marqu pour les systmes dintgration continue et les tests automatiss.

Atouts importants:

• Certifications en assurance qualit (ex. : ISTQB).
• Connaissance des outils et langages suivants : Batch, Shell, Git, GitLab, systmes dexploitation Linux.
• Exprience avec les mthodes Agile (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.).

Achievements and stimulating challenges:

Under the supervision of the Team Leader / RT-LAB, the QA Automation Developer will work in a dynamic environment inspired by Agile methods and will be required to actively participate in the development of internal tools used during automated CI tests. These tools support developers in the evolution of our real-time simulation platforms. In the context of continuous integration, you will support the software teams in all phases of the development of OPAL-RT products.

Main Duties:

• Develop and execute test scenarios aligned with Research & Development team specifications.
• Implement, run, maintain and document automated tests (Python)
• Integrate automatic tests into the continuous integration environment (Jenkins / Groovy)
• Participate in the improvement of common processes and tools
• Support and train users in the deployment and use of internal tools to perform automated tests
• Collaborate as a team in an Agile environment

Requirements:

• Education:Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• Experience:1 to 2 years of experience in test automation, and/or software development
• Skills required:
  - Performing unit tests, integration tests and automated tests (Python, Groovy, ...)
  - Experience with continuous integration technologies (Jenkins, Gitlab-CI, ...)
  - Knowledge of test automation best practices
• Language abilities:French is required, and advanced English skills (oral and written) help ensure open, effective communication with colleagues and partners beyond Quebec.

• Desired skills:Autonomy, curiosity, good interpersonal communication, team spirit.
• Strong interest in continuous integration and automated testing systems.

Significant assets:

• QA-related certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
• Knowledge of the following tools and languages: Batch, Shell script, Git, Gitlab, Linux operating systems
• Experience with agile methods (SCRUM, Kanban...);
