Project Description: Cloud Application Developer

Application Developer will work with the Cloud First team within client to build cloud-native web applications using modern web service-based architectures and agile methodologies. Main responsibilities include test-driven development based on provided customer requirements and following team documentation and development and security standards and agile development methodologies. Participate in peer code reviews, peer architecture reviews, and contribute to iteratively improving development processes through team retrospectives. Translate existing design guidelines, wireframes, and component style guides into responsive, WCAG 2.0 AA compliant, and performant mobile-friendly web applications following user experience best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year of related experience and a demonstrated mastery of JavaScript (ES6), AngularJS, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JSON, and git.

Must be familiar with agile development methodologies and automated testing tools and processes including Karma, SinonJS, gherkin and JIRA, with a collaborative teamoriented approach.

Significant hands-on experience with JSON-based RESTful web services. Familiarity with NodeJS, Python, Django-REST, and PostgreSQL 9.5+ strongly preferred. Experience with Amazon Web Services preferred. Must exercise considerable independent and professional judgment, with proficiency in time management and meeting deadlines and flexibility with changing priorities and requirements.
